A man 's body has been pulled from the water in sydney's north after he was seen distresses on a dinghy.
The man was heading to shore at Hunter Hill about 1pm on Friday when the dinghy became inundated,NSW ambulance said in a statement.
Police and marine officers pulled him from the water and paramedics attempted to revive him but he died at the scene.
